Marjorie Large served in the USMC from 1956 to 1959 and was known as ‘Sarge’ Marge Large. The following photos are donated from her collection. Her grandfather George W. Smith was a member of the Colorado regiment of the 115th Engineer’s Train and trained in Camp Kearny, California. Camp Kearny was operable from 1917 to 1920 and trained soldiers in preparation for World War I.
